Passive coated (ATI-5) stent delivery system based on Nexus II+ stent and Senso catheter.

 

ATI - 5 Multilayer stent coating features five neointimal hyperplasia inhibitors:
  • Reduce smooth-muscle cell growth by promoting rapid re-endothelialization.
  • Prevents inflamation and immunological responses by bloking diffusion of metal ions into the tissue.
  • Reduces platelet activation and proten denaturation owing to the anti-inflammatory surface.
  • Features a hydrophilic surface, which enhances affinity with both endothelial cells and blood and ensures excellent biocompatibility.
  • Is a flexible, permanenet, insoluble coating that does not crack during deployment.
 
 Stent coating - ATI - 5 
 
 

•ATI - 5 is an ultra-thin, flexible, multilayer coating of diamond-like carbon molecules that does not crack during stent deploymen. OCCAM uses plasma deposition to secure this coatingto the inside and outside surfaces of the stent.
•ATI - 5 significantly reduced adhesion of human immune-competent blood cells on ATI-5 coating, compared with 316L stainless steel, after 30 minutes under arterial shear conditions.
•ATI - 5 significantly increased endothelial cell growth on ATI-5 caoting, compared with 316L stainless steel, after 48 hours in vitro.
